I want to thank everyone who encouraged and helped me in writing this book, especially my wife Kay, who read my first draft, continually offered encouragement, and shared her own experiences in Part IV of the book. I am also grateful to George Pardos, MD, who provided thoughtful feedback on an early version, and to Charlotte, my grandniece, who helped me recall events and contributed her perspective.
This book had its beginning in 2011. At the time, I had no desire to write a book and doubted that I had the ability to do so. The writing went on hold in 2012 for reasons I did not yet understand. In 2021, I felt clearly led by the Holy Spirit to finish it. This is truly His book—a testimony of miraculous healing from Stage IV pancreatic cancer.
I am simply a vessel God has used to share that He is alive, faithful, and still working miracles today.
