Hi Kay, I wanted to let you know I finished reading Dan's book and I'm really glad I did. It truly is and was a miracle what he went through. I wanted to let you know one of the things I found interesting in the book was his doctor, Dr. Kendrick. I had Dr. Kendrick two years ago. He did my surgery. I had a 9 cm cyst on my liver and he removed that and about 10% of my liver and my gallbladder. and he was a phenomenal doctor. truly had a wonderful bedside manner and we felt so confident. I've had no problems since then and everything was fine. Hope you have a good week

I'm close to the end of your book but want to read more before I'm done. Although we remain frequently in touch over the years, I had forgotten how dire the situation was for you. I'm beyond grateful you're still here! I so appreciated Kay's contribution to the book. You have a treasure in that lady

Daniel, yes I received your book a few days ago. It is awesome and inspiring . I cannot put it down, but less than halfway through. Even though I did not go to bed one night. Between my vision and memory I shall keep and cherish your book. So hard to express myself but each page and chapter has me in tears. And I keep thanking GOD. all for now thank you and Kay (haven't got to her portion yet). Love, your sister.

Dan, your book arrived at our house today. Delia is already through 160 pages! There is little or no moderation with that woman. When she finds a book that she really likes, she just stays with it until the end. Yours is a real page turner. I look forward to reading it. Thanks so much, my friend.

I highly recommend this book - so personable!! It was a powerful reminder how God works His mighty hand in all we do & answers prayers. It made me remember when the Lord was with me & my husband during our struggles. I loved the references to my favorite scripture verses. Also, the love & support so special in a marriage full of God’s love.

I couldn't put this book down as Dan leads you through his ordeal with cancer. I found the book to be introspective, detailed and ultimately incredibly uplifting. This book is a godsend for anyone dealing with cancer or helping a loved one through a serious illness.

This gripping story, In The Hands of Our Heavenly Father, gives insight into what families experience during difficult times when cancer comes upon a person unexpectantly. The author articulates so clearly his journey that is nothing but uplifting, real, and heartfelt. Hearing from Daniel’s wife and their children about Daniel’s journey makes this book so authentic. If you are looking for a book to encourage a family member, friend, or work associate experiencing some serious health concerns, this book will be encouraging and make the journey go a little easier especially knowing we can go to our Heavenly Father

This is a is a raw and honest account of one man’s battle with pancreatic cancer and his miraculous journey back to health. The author doesn’t sugarcoat the fear, pain, and uncertainty that come with such a devastating diagnosis, but what shines through is his unwavering faith in God’s intervention.
His story is hope-filled, showing how prayer, trust, and surrender to God can carry someone through the darkest valley. Whether you’re facing your own health crisis, walking alongside a loved one, or simply need encouragement in your faith, this book will strengthen and inspire you.

I just finished reading your book. You Both did such an amazing job. I can't imagine the time and effort that goes into such a project. Your story, commentary and details were very timely and relevant to me. My steps and emotions during my own cancer discovery have many parallels to the journey that you detail. Even though prostate cancer cannot be compared to the magnitude of dealing with pancreatic cancer, you clearly address the fears and uncertainties that arose throughout my process. Thank you Dan for completing and sharing this book. It will be a benefit for anyone struggling with life threatening medical events. I will be sharing this book with the Newcombs next door. I know they will relate to your message.

This book offers a personal look at Dan's journey through cancer and the faith that sustained him along the way. His story is a reminder that even in life's hardest trials, God remains faithful and present with His people. As I read, I was reminded of Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." Dan's story points readers to the hope, peace, and comfort that can be found in trusting God through difficult circumstances.
